Let ET speak bitch
-
I've always liked selling things even when I was 5 or 6 years old. but my crossover moment was in the summer of my 7th grade year. I decided to set up at a local flea market and sell headphones I got online. I made $700 in my first day. I was hooked. I can't wait to graduate high school to focus solely on myself and my businesses

I fucking love these two. Eric Thomas got me started years ago. Gary has a natural ability to effectively communicate to people. Can't say enough good things about both these two.

Gary needs to lay off the Reb Bull...coke...or whatever. ET, you are a much better man than me....we would have had to cut for 5 and have an intervention.

My cross over moment was my senior year in college. To be honest what happeened didn't occur the way it was "supposed to." I was coming close to failing out of college and I realized I was desparate and needed something to push me outside of myself. I searched for motivational videos and I came across E.T. and was forever changed. I had to have watched his video on Success to the college class over 1,000 times. I had it on loop for multiple days straight. I needed an A on the final exam of one of my classes in order to pass the course. I had recently been diagnosed as ADHD and was prescribed Concerta. I never believed in being too mentally weak to accomplish something, but again, I was desparate. So for 7 straight days, no sleep, no rest, I watched that motivational video and took the meds and by the end of the week I passed the exam.Ultimately I ended up with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and yet my life had changed, my mindset different. I currently work as a Mechancial Engineer, but not for long. For the past year I have begun reading nonstop, taking online courses, going to network events, building conenctionsm travelling the states and making sure to meet people as I do. I began losing weight, taking martial arts class for cardio, balance and what I call "moving meditation." I feel, as I'm a sculptor does, as though I am almost complete with the transformation of myself into who I want to be and with this new self I am prepared to work until the day I die to meet the massive goals I have set for myself. I keep a log of goals and when I complete them and have slowly but surely checked them off my list and will continue to do so until I am in the ranks worthy to meet you both.I want to meet you both one day to thank you for that mental ass kicking I needed, but not until it's clear I'm worth your time. So until then, I'll rise and grind.

Serious question... How do you flip it? What if you have phenomenal skill and average will? Lack of motivation / stuff coming TOO easy is killing me. Comfortable is killing me...

I can't believe I just found out they made this together. I'm glad I did find it!

Gary I love you man but I agree w everyone else that it would be great if you stopped interrupting ET lmao always love hearing you talk though

Motivation stop and execution begin? Motivation only stops when execution stops.
You have to execute first, then after a while when you realize you getting stuff done, that's when motivation STARTS. -
cocaine is a hell of a drug

Thank you guys. I needed some of these reminders today. I won't go back and I will keep driving forward regardless of what anyone else says or does!

ET is a good man and a man who loves God and puts God first. ET has my respect because he recognizes who is on the throne and gets his motivation from that.
It's interesting to me how Gary tries to get ET to agree with this idea that inner darkness is the best motivator. Gary says some pretty dark stuff about "slitting throats" and violent mental competitiveness that comes across as very sad and empty.
ET agrees that a troubled past can propel us to greatness. The bigger story (if Gary would have shown some restraint and self control to have ET finish a sentence) is that Mr. Eric Thomas shares a much more hopeful and powerful message, that greatness is upon you and God will help you when you choose to step up. We don't have to be slaves to our work. It's not bad to be ambitious, but when you are driven by hate and division, you are making deals that don't pan out eternally and will die with you.
ET has the attitude and relationship with his maker that will leave a lasting, multi-generational, pure and powerful legacy.
Great to see these two power-players side by side, to show the sharp contrast in the spirit with which they serve. -
