I'd choose the faith of the old gods of the forest.
Because it's the least fundamental of all religions here (no burning non-believers, no compeling people to follow THEIR dogma or else you are humilated in front of everyone).
No rigid rules, no stupid rituals, no group-prayers (just you and the holy tree in the godswoods, if you feel the need).
You can become a green-seer, if you are talented.
And of course you share your belief with ancient fairy-like creatures, who worship nature. Perfect. -
you're fucking moron, the andal invasion was far more comparable to the invasion of the british isles by the saxon and angles. the saxons didn't bring christianity with but conversion by frankish catholics was happening at the same time, there is literally no evidence that the andal invasion has anything to do with the crusades but it does prove that you are talking out of your ass.

I do think they're all the same God, or Gods in this case. And they're George R.R. Martin and the writers and producers of the TV show.

it is ironic to see this video when your talking about the creation of the seven gods... to think how something made by a egotistic king so to promote the following of his royal rule is now being used to bring down the royal family of this time. . . so game of thrones :P how everything always gets turned on its head.

I think the religion of R'hllor will end up dominating Westeros.
GRRM likes to write from history, and while the Seven often represent Catholicism I think that on the world stage they're equivalent to the Roman gods - as they are polytheistic and allow the Old Gods to still be worshiped (like the Romans did for conquered peoples). That makes the religion of R'hllor an exclusivist monotheistic faith from a far away land in the east, pledging for all to abandon their idols and worship just one god - like Christianity. So I put my money on R'hllor. -
R'hllor isn't mentioned until much later as far as our sources tell us (or lack thereof). We know from Leaf that worship of the Old Gods spans literally a million years into the past.

Great review, I do disagree in that the High Septon is like the Pope, is more like the Archbishop of Cantenbury as is subservient of the King whilst the Pope was always independent

first "Iranian" is sound "Ee'ranian" not "Eye'ranian" and second R'hllor is based on Zoroastrianism and not Manichaeism which is actually strongly based on and reformed of Zoroastrianism.
