They say there is a music for every mood. I am a writer and nothing gives me greater pleasure than to choose music that fits my writing. However, the best music I seem to like and can keep hearing on and on is Handel, Mozart, Bach and Haydn. Probably because they were older and produced music that others were inspired by, including the immortal Beethoven. This is not to belittle the magnificent works of Wagner, Lizst, Mendelssohn, Strauss, Schubert, Vivaldi, Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Rimski, Chopin, Puccini and the other masters! There is something ethereal about Handel :-) Many thanks, The Gravicembalo!
