Direkt neben unserem Hotel, optimal gelegen, befand sich die Mall of the Emirates, wir haben diese öfters besucht und auch dort gegessen. Mit einer Einkaufsfläche von 223.000 m2 zählt die Mall of the Emirates zu den größten Einkaufszentren der Welt. Es gibt ca. 400 Shops aller Branchen, zumeist aber aus dem Luxusbereich, alle bekannten Marken sind vertreten. Besonders nobel und auch sehr interessant zum anzuschauen ist die Gestaltung der Designer- Shop-Schaufenster (hier im Video zu sehen). Die Hauptattraktion in der Mall ist die angrenzende Ski Dubai-Halle, wo man auch bei Außentemperaturen von + 40 Grad C Ski fahren kann.
