I'm amused by the fact that most of the people doesn't give a damn about the meteor. They just keep walking, as if it were just a rain.

Something exploded millions, if not billions of years ago. Probably a star, an part of what ejected out from that explosion has been traveling at extreme velocities through our galaxy on it's own until 2013. Thankfully nobody was killed in this event, but it does make me think it could happen at anytime...anywhere.
