How tough is it to decommission a solar plant? (Cost a lot and take a long time? Is the remaining material going to be a problem?)
How tough is it to get the raw fuel for a solar plant? (Any digging involved to get sunshine? Any centrifuges? Any terrorist potential?)
How tough is it to dispose of solar waste? (Compared to nuclear waste? How long will a Chernobyl type disaster remain dangerous?)
SOLAR FOR THE WIN!!! -
But how do they affect the environment.

Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors !

solar
-
To say that Nuclear power is cheaper than solar Energie ins't that simple as you make it in the video because Nuclear energy gets subventions from the government and it has hidden cost for example the disposal.
-
Its nice how this video doesnt say: THATS BAD HATE IT and thats good love it. Its great that it lets people have theri opinion.
-
anyone else notice the wrong russian flag. COMMNISM any one
-
Death rates are the normalized to accurately compare them?
-
Solar wins because nuclear can go wrong and lock are chunk of you country for thousands of years so, no, and a little small place of solar panels are needed to power every thing, and those news sustentable tec are just in the beginning what thats means it is on his worse.

This is a copy of Kurzesgaz..

Don't forget about Japan

I'm surprised you guys are not more popular. Your videos are extremely informing and I love the artwork that goes with it! Love the videos that you do!
(I feel like an infographics show on different regions in the US would be cool! Ex: Midwest, west, northeast, southeast, southwest, etc. Just to show some differences.)
Thanks for making these awesome videos! -
solar Energy is better XD
-
solar energy wins because it can go on electric cars

+ 0.255 KW Solar panel (STC Power Rating)(18.5Kg)
* 2,080.00 Hours in a year
---------------
+ 530.40
* 0.20 Capacity Factor %
---------------
+ 106.08 KWh in a year
* 30.00 30 year lifetime
---------------
+ 3,182.40 KWH in a lifetime per 255W panel
+ 22,394,444.00 KWh per Kg from uranium
* 0.007 % CANDU burnup (natural uranium to reactor)
* 0.35 % thermal to electric conversion
---------------
+ 54,866.39 KWh per Kg of uranium
* 18.50 Match mass of solar panel (Kg)
---------------
+ 1,015,028.22 KWh <--- A bundle of Canadian patriotism. -
You forgot the fact that solar panels are useless if you have clouds.
-
What will we do with all of the nuclear waste? What happens when it leaks into the ground? What happens when it leaks into our aquifers? What happens to our water supply after that?
-
Chernobyl accident was blown out of proportion by the West. Fukushima was only a little smaller but you don't keep hearing about it. American propaganda backfired as the liberals don't want good, efficient energy.

I think both nuclear and solar power energy is good nuclear can go all night but solar can go on your roof both are very good options
Nuclear energy is a cheap and relatively clean source of energy for the planet, but lately it has been mired in controversy. Solar energy is often brought up as alternative resource, but is it really better than nuclear energy? Which is better for the planet? Let’s find out in this battle of Nuclear Energy vs Solar Energy!
