BRAS! What a nightmare for us gals that are well endowed. I decided to find a bra that let your breast hang in a natural way. I have fibromyalgia so bras are painful. I found a small company that makes a cami bra called Breastnest. It's lovely Check it out.

i've heard good things about meundies, do you/anyone else know anything about them? they seem to be sustainably made/eco-friendly but i'm rubbish at determining these things haha
-
I have no sustainably made underwear in my closet at this point, but what I do to shop less is that I sort through my closet and pick 5 Bras and matching undies and I put the others in a box (with my out-of-season-clothes). So when I am changing my seasonal clothes I suddenly see underwear that I have not worn in 6 months so I get excited all over again to have them back ;) This prevents me from boredom and therefore from the urge to buy more :)

Check out PACT underwear

Hey, have you heard of https://www.meundies.com/ ?
It's super hard to find any eco-friendly underwear in Canada and they offer free shipping here.
The FAQ page says they are eco-friendly but it's not really advertised anywhere else, curious as to what you think. Thanks!
btw. love your channel :) -
You encouraged me to do a thing I really should have done before: go out to a high end dept store and find out the right size. After trying on more than 10 bra's I know not only my right size, but also ideal model Like the hight of the connection between the cups. I never realized it's importance. After that, I tried the same size on in cheaper shops, but either the underwire wasn't comfortable, or the material wasn't supportive. I turns out I also have a not so standard size, so now I can go and research more sustainable options. But I'm afraid cotton and other soft fabrics are not an option, so we'll see. But thanks, anyway. 😀

Have you tried any bras from woron? They look really nice I've never bought a bra online mine are getting all out of shape and I'm in the market for new:)

Model shouldn't shrink at all if you're flat drying it... which given how eco conscious you seem to be I'm a little surpassed you use a dryer at all... (no hate, just surprised. I basically only dry my towels, cotton undies, boxers, and men's jeans. basically over half my wardrobe can't go in the dryer anyway either to prevent shrink or preserve fibers.)
I'm gonna have to look into new places to get my undies though because hanse has gone and ruined their waist bands, so I'll be looking at these companies for more sustainable and hopefully more comfy options. -
Awesome video, thanks for sharing! Can't wait to check out these brands!

Thank you so much for this video it was very helpful. The biggest problem with buying underwear online is fitting. Prior to becoming aware of fast fashion and the related environmental impacts, I would usually buy my under garments at Victoria Secret. I have bras and underwear from there that has lasted me 7 years. It is coming to the point where I need to consider purchasing new underwear again. It is tempting to go to Victoria Secret again because I know there stuff fits me and lasts me a very long time. I am skeptical of purchasing underwear online because of fitting and my carbon footprint with shipping and returns if it doesn't fit. I have not found any sustainable or ethically sourced under garment stores in my local area that would fit my budget. Do you have any recommendations for me? Thank you!!

Thanks for including a Canadian Etsy seller in the description! Shipping even from the states is $$$$$$$$$

Also, PACT does fair trade cotton underwear and long underwear! Try Girl Gotch for toddler underwear made good quality for girls (boy-style), made in Canada I believe.
I get so many questions about this topic, so I hope you find this video helpful! There are some great conscious brands (and more are starting up!) but finding eco-friendly and ethically made lingerie can be a challenge, especially if you're looking for specific styles or non-standard sizes. If you can't find what you're looking for, don't forget about longevity and care with any garment (eco brand or not) as a way to have a greener wardrobe!
