The author done the job well by finding about how can we learn or master anything in just 20 hours (Y)

In case you missed this minor point - you need to wear a cool hat to play the ukulele, because the world's most famous ukulele player does, and 2) you need to pronounce the instrument correctly, like Josh did, again, because Jake pronounces it that way; and, Major Points, in case you missed it:
1. Deconstruct the Skill,
2. Learn enough to self-correct,
3. Remove Practice Barriers
4. Practice at least 20 hrs -
What is so cool about this video for me is that I saw the "Ukelele God" video a few years ago and went out and bought a ukelele which has been steadily catching dust in my closet since then. (Mine came with strings! My first step was to tune it.... not done yet!) While watching this, and taking notes, I was thinking: I'm gonna test this on that ukelele! Then Mr. Kaufman, here demonstrated his theory and skills with his! #Inspired #OffToDustOffThatUke

That's what he sais 10000hours is mastery but we take it to see how long it takes to be good at something. 10000is mastery I've been drawing whole my life and I tell you this when you explain simple how perspective works and all the rest shadows and light and form you are never going to think the same about drawing again. Good video I think some people miss the point and it was about that.

How can I apply this to learning a language? It just seems like such a big goal and very hard to break down into doable parts. Any suggestions?
-
Well, because of you, I have been able to learn so many things. I can do programming, video production, reading, and now I am learning to play the ukulele. When I watched your video, I was free from this "forever" feeling and now I learn whatever I want to learn. It has enabled my husband and I to get a YouTube channel together. Thank you for opening those, and future, doors for me.

For the TL;DR, start at 18:24. That little nugget alone is worth the price of admission.

it's nice to hear and all but if it'll take me 20 hours to learn 4 chords on the ukulele than i rather not do it. And i do play to guitar so i know the struggle.
