kurds have been betrayed so many times and have suffered such long time, that within their own homeland no kurd dare to meantion what they are. because they would face treatment as worse as what happened to jews in nazigermany. only the West dare to talk about them. within turkey If a turkish journalist interview some Kurds they face serious consiquences. and the funny Thing is that those facist get as much help as you can imagine from the west. because of kurds are actually in war with the West.

My hope is that POTUS TRUMP will give his spprt &a real commitment for a free & sovereign Kurdish nation. A 9000 y/o people 35 million strong w/a millennia's long history of tolerance & acceptance of others despite the many attempts to annihilate them & their history from the face of the earth have earned via the forced migration/subjugation/slaughter/betrayals throughout the ages have earned the right to a self-determining government. These BRAVE courageous people would be a strong powerful & forever grateful friend to the country that for once kept it's word & treated them w/dignity/respect/equality. #freethekurds always stay low/safe/strong/free always my Kurdish friends. you are a beacon of hope & a shining example of perseverance and determination to all who have felt the world is set against them.

this is soooo funny. does anyone know there are 59 seats for a kurdish party in turkish parliament which selected with the greatly help from turkish people? the co-leader for kurdish party (hdp) propagandised with the word of peace and after the election he sad they will put a statue of pkk's(terror organization) leader abdullah ocalan. and the actions of pkk rised again.
turkish people are living in the kurdistan area like 1000 years together with kurdish people and nearly just 40 years ago pkk show up from nowhere and started terror actions in turkey. is it really logical? on my opinion it's basic divide and conquer tactic on middle east. together we are stronger. -
Kurds deserve their own independent country. they have endured enough violence and discrimination. wish Kurds victory from Afghanistan.

One of Saddam's WMD suppliers since 1984 was Frans van Anraat from the Netherlands. 1000 tons of Thiodiglycol to be mixed with Sulfuric acid, enough to wipe out humanity. A part of it was found in Veldhuizen, Ede, Netherlands in 2013 in a basement belonging to a Dutch physicist who was found dead in his apartment minutes before he asked his brother to call the fire brigade. Fran's van Anraat, a member of the Dutch intelligence, was granted the Iraqi citizenship by Saddam Hussein and he lived in Baghdad from 1986 to 2003 when he was smuggled back to the Netherlands by a Dutch ambassador. Van Anraat got the WMD from a chemical factory in Arnhem called Melchemi, belonging to Hans Melchers the daughter of whom was kidnapped by Colombian drug mafia and released for a great randsum. The Americans issued an arrest warrant against van Anraat in 1986 tipped by the Japanese intelligence, but Frans left to the Vatican and from there to Iraq avoiding the arrest. Frans van Anraat was sentenced to 17 years, not for facilitating genocide, but for war crimes.
The Kurds are an ancient and noble people who are now the primary “boots on the ground” against ISIS in the Middle East. They are 35 million strong worldwide, the largest people group on earth without their own homeland. In this stirring talk, Stephen Mansfield tells the story of the Kurds and does so, surprisingly, through the lives of three women. Stephen Mansfield is a New York Times bestselling author who first rose to global attention with his groundbreaking book, The Faith of George W. Bush, a bestseller that Time magazine credited with helping to shape the 2004 U.S. presidential election. He has written celebrated biographies of Barak Obama, Booker T. Washington, George Whitefield, Winston Churchill, Pope Benedict XVI, and Abraham Lincoln, among others. Mansfield’s latest book, The Miracle of the Kurds, is a timely introduction to the Kurdish people that reached bookstores just as Kurdish troops began standing heroically against the evils of ISIS in the Middle East. The book has been named “Book of the Year” by Rudaw, the leading Kurdish news service. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
