She is my all-time favorite TED speaker, so eloquent, so succinct, and funny to boot!

Women do not fall in love with men - they fall in love with love.
-
Dumb women think this, and demand it yes. By "dumb" i mean most, also yes.
-
She looks like Michelle Pfeiffer, '95 version.
But then, her intelligence and eloquence increases her attractiveness.
Lovely. -
I think her accent makes me believe her more.

Now I understand why Christ was called "the savior"! hahaha ...What about replacing "give me" by "give you" ...cause biologically speaking we're unleashing the animal we come from that religion tries to put to sleep ...and if women want it all then men will increase aggression among themselves in dispute for the resources that satisfy each-day more demanding women. Christ was a genius when he taught the vow of poverty to increase cooperation between people... he knew well what he was showing...... unfortunately many still see religion in the wrong way and not as a successful way of organizing that big-brained animal called human...

Entertaining. Well-delivered. Also, remarkably unclear.

Interesting, but way too abstract. The talk could have benefited from some examples of what it is that "successful" couples do.
In long-term relationships, we often expect our beloved to be both best friend and erotic partner. But as Esther Perel argues, good and committed sex draws on two conflicting needs: our need for security and our need for surprise. So how do you sustain desire? With wit and eloquence, Perel lets us in on the mystery of erotic intelligence.
