to this day the Batman: Arkham games are some of my favorite of all time. For story, gameplay, world, the fact that it's Batman, the villains, the writing, the atmosphere... it's just a perfect game built on a perfect character. Rip my wallet.

I'd say WoW isn't really that open-world. The world is huge, sure, but the zones are rather linear. Pretty much 95% of the world is virtually inaccessible at level 1, due to the level of the mobs and how evenly distributed the mobs are. It's very different from an open world where you can actually go from one corner of the world to the other, because higher level content is located off the beaten path or inside dungeons or whatnot.

Sorry, but playing Fallout 4 for about 5 hours, I felt I had seen it all. Should not even closely qualify for this list.
