This list is seriously lacking. Where's Minecraft, for instance? All of these maps are smaller than Minecraft; heck, all of these maps PUT TOGETHER are smaller than Minecraft. And Minecraft isn't even the biggest game map, either!

No man's Sky and Witcher 3 are segmented, not true open world.

Saying that no man's sky is the biggest open world is the same as saying minecraft is the biggest open world. It doesn't really count if it's procedurally generated. I'm pretty sure over half of FFXV is water too and not much of the other continents are explorable, that shouldn't really count.
